What is the Cash Up Titanium offer?

Deem’s Titanium Cash Up allows you to earn Cash Up at an accelerated rate on the spend categories listed below:

• Supermarket & Grocery Stores

• Fuel Purchases at Gas Stations

• Utility Bills & spends at Government Services

Cash Up Titanium Table

The Cash Up is earned on each transaction individually. With each transaction made in the above spend categories with your Deem Titanium Credit Card you will earn Cash Up based on:

• The spend category it belongs to

• The value of the purchase made on the credit card

This will define the spend-tier that the purchase falls into and the rate of Cash Up that it will earn.

In addition to the above mentioned spend categories, all other retail purchases made on the card will also earn Cash Up where the Cash Up will be calculated on the total sum of transactions as on the statement date.

Cash Up rates for accelerated spend categories apply irrespective if the transaction in done in the UAE or overseas.

How does the Cash Up offer work?

Once you use our Deem Titanium Credit Card, you earn Cash Up based on the Titanium Cash Up table.

How will I know how much Cash Up I have earned?

The Cash Up amount that you have earned will appear in your monthly credit card statement. The value of Cash Up is as below:

1 Cash Up point = AED 1

The amount of accelerated Cash Up earned will reflect as ‘Accelerated Cash Up’ on Deem rewards portal and Cash Up earned on other retail purchases will reflect as ‘Regular Cash Up’.

Does my supplementary card also earn Cash Up?

Yes. Transactions on your supplementary card and virtual card will be eligible for Cash Up and will appear on the primary card account. 

What is the minimum amount to be spent to earn Cash Up?

There is no minimum spend required to be eligible for Cash Up under the Titanium Cash Up offer.

Will I get Cash Up on every purchase within the spend categories included in the Titanium Cash Up offer?

Every retail transaction done on credit cards has a specific Merchant Category Code (MCC). MCCs are defined by MasterCard to classify transactions.

Each Titanium spend category is a group of single/multiple MCCs. When the retail transaction made by you falls under the MCCs covered under the specific Titanium spend categories, the transaction will receive Accelerated Cash Up.

If a transaction does not fall under the respective spend category or if any merchant uses an MCC that is different from the one categorised by Mastercard, then that particular transaction will not earn Accelerated Cash Up. In such cases, the Cash Up will be received at the rate applicable to all ‘Other Retail Purchases’.

How do I redeem Cash Up?

You can redeem your Deem Cash Up, through the Deem mobile app or online portal.

What are the options available to redeem my Cash Up?

You can redeem your Cash Up for the following options:

• Cashback Credit on the Statement: You have the option to request for the accumulated Cash Up to be redeemed in the form of credit on the upcoming statement and the same will added to the your available credit limit.

• Online Gift Vouchers: You have the option to redeem your accumulated Cash Up for online vouchers. To check the vouchers available for redemption, please visit www.deemrewards.io

• Pay with Points: You have the option to request for whole or part of your accumulated Cash Up to be redeemed against the next purchase.

How many days will the redemption take?

Upon receiving the redemption request, the Cash Up redeemed would be automatically deducted from the total Cash Up accumulated.

The Cashback credit will be processed within five (5) working days in the UAE.

The online vouchers request will be processed with two working days in the UAE.

If you have redeemed your Cash Up partially or in full via Pay with Points, then the same will reflect in the upcoming statement.

Is there a minimum number of Cash Up required to request for redemption?

The minimum number of Cash Up points required for redemption is 100 Cash Up.

Can I settle my card payments with Cash Up?

The accrued Cash Up can be redeemed as a credit to your primary Credit Card. When redeemed, the equivalent value will reflect as a credit in the next statement of your card. This credit will reduce the total outstanding on your card and add to your available credit limit. This will not offset any payment on your card.

How much Cash Up can I earn?

The Cash Up caps for all Retail Transactions for Titanium Cash Up Credit Card is 10,000 Cash Up points per year across all spends.

When does Cash Up expire?

Currently there is no expiry for Cash up

If I make a purchase from a supermarket located within a department store or purchase supermarket items from a department store, will I get the accelerated Cash Up under the Titanium Cash Up offer?

Purchases done at supermarkets within the department stores or purchase of supermarket items from department stores will earn you Cash Up at the rate applicable to all ‘Other Retail Purchases’ and not the ‘Accelerated Cash Up’ rate.

Who do I contact in case of any issue faced with my online gift voucher or items purchased on the rewards portal?

Please contact the merchant from whom the confirmation of the products/vouchers received for any issues or clarification on the products purchased.

Deem’s Platinum Cash Up is a unique program that offers accelerated Cash Up on all shopping at department stores, both in the malls and online as well as entertainment spend.

If a transaction does not fall under the above mentioned categories or if any merchant uses an MCC that is different from the one categorised by Mastercard/VISA, then that particular transaction will earn Cash Up at the rate applicable as per the table for ‘Other Retail Purchases’.

All purchases made at department stores, ready-to-wear apparel, sportswear, footwear, handbags, fashion accessories, cosmetics & perfume stores as well as online shopping sites are eligible for accelerated Cash Up. These retail transactions are not eligible for accelerated Cash Up, unless such stores have specifically used the correct merchant category codes.

On all purchases made on Utility Bills, Government Services and Fuel & related purchases, you will earn Cash Up of 0.50%. All such transactions are summed up till the billing cycle and the Cash Up rate of 0.50% is applied.

• All retail transactions that are eligible for Miles Up including accelerated Miles Up done up to the billing cycle will be summed up and the earn rate as per the Titanium Miles table will be applied.

Do I have to pay anything more for the redemption of Miles Up for tickets?

All rewards redeemed are inclusive of airport taxes, surcharges and booking fees. Any shortfall in the amount of the ticket can be paid with your Deem Credit Card at the time of purchase.

Can I redeem my Deem Miles Up for tickets for anyone apart from the primary card holder?

Yes, you can redeem your Deem Miles Up for tickets for yourself or family members & friends.

Are there blackout dates for redemption for travel bookings?

No, there are no blackout dates. This means you have the freedom to travel anytime of the year, even during the holidays, as long as a seat, hotel room or car is available for booking on www.deemrewards.io

Will I be issued a ticket when redeemed for flights?

You will be issued an e-ticket when you redeem your Deem Miles Up for flights and hotel bookings on the email address shared by you at the time of redemption. You need to carry your e-ticket to check-in at the airline counter/hotel check in desk.

Who do I contact in case of any issues with my flight tickets or in case of any changes needed on the ticket purchased through the rewards?

 (*) Payments towards utility bills, fuel, transport and government services are excluded from Miles Up accrual 

• Miles Up customers earn Miles Up for all AED retail spend based on the above table.

• All Miles Up earning is based on the sum of the transactions in the billing cycle.

• Accelerated Miles Up is earned on shopping spend including online shopping. This includes all purchases made at department stores, ready-to-wear apparel, sportswear, footwear, handbags, fashion accessories, cosmetics & perfume stores.

• Accelerated Miles Up for the accelerated spend categories applies irrespective if the transaction in completed in the UAE or overseas.

• The minimum monthly cycle retail spends required to be eligible for miles is AED 1500. The total number of transactions are summed at the billing cycle and if the retail spend sums up to AED 1500 or more, the Miles Up earn is applied based on the table above.

What is the Deem World Miles Up program?

World Miles Up – Merchant Examples 

Do I earn accelerated Miles Up on all spend categories in the accelerated Miles Up categories?

All retail transactions that are eligible for Miles Up including accelerated Miles Up done up to the billing cycle will be summed up and the earn rate as per the World Miles Up Table will be applied.

Every retail transaction done on credit cards has a specific Merchant Category Code (MCC). MCCs are defined by Mastercard/VISA to classify transactions.

Each World spend category is a group of single/multiple MCCs. When the retail transaction made by you falls under the MCCs covered under the specific spend categories, the transaction will receive accelerated Miles Up.

If a transaction does not fall under the above mentioned category or if any merchant uses an MCC that is different from the one categorised by Mastercard/VISA, then that particular transaction will earn Miles Up at the rate applicable as per the table for ‘Other Retail Purchases’.

What is the maximum Deem Miles Up that I can earn?

The maximum Miles Up that you can earn per billing cycle for all retail spend as per the World Miles Up table is 200,000 Miles Up.

Easy Payment Plan

What is an Easy Payment Plan (EPP)?

Easy Payment Plan (EPP) is a repayment plan which allows the high value purchases made on Deem credit card to be repaid in installments, over a tenure of your choice ranging from 3 to 12 months.

How can I request for the EPP?

Upon making a purchase through Deem credit card, you can avail EPP on the purchase transaction by calling our 24x7 Customer care center at 600 525550.

What is the eligibility criteria in order to avail EPP?

Provided with good standing of your credit card at the time of request, repayment history and general performance of all Deem products, you may apply for EPP on your Deem Credit card. At the time of request, card shall not be blocked, outstanding balance is not over limit and payments are regular of all Deem products, for the eligibility.

The application for EPP will be reviewed and booked subject to Deem’s approval.

What is the minimum purchase value to avail the EPP?

The minimum purchase value of a transaction, in order to avail EPP, is AED 1,000.

How will the EPP reflect in my Credit Card statement?

The monthly installment arising from the EPP, will be displayed in each statement during the tenure of the EPP. Details of number of installments and tenure of EPP are also mentioned in the description of the installment in the statement.

How will I know once the transaction is converted into EPP?

The EPP will also start reflecting in the statements starting from subsequent month.

What are the options for tenure of EPP?

EPP can be availed over the following tenures – 3, 6, 9 and 12 months

Can I reduce or increase the tenure of the EPP?

The tenure of the EPP cannot be changed.

Can I avail more than one EPP without settling the existing EPP?

Yes. You can avail multiple EPPs.

Can a supplementary cardholder apply for an EPP?

Only a primary Cardholder can apply for an Easy Payment Plan.

What happens if I miss making a payment on EPP?

If you pay less than EPP installment amount, charges will be applied to the credit card as per the Deem schedule of fees and charges.

If you are unable to make the payment of EPP installment by the due date, the installment amount will become a revolving interest bearing transaction.

If more than or equal to two (2) EPP installments are overdue on your credit card, the EPP stands cancelled and the entire EPP balance will be converted into a regular revolving interest bearing transaction.

Can I foreclose, prepay or cancel my existing EPP on my credit card? Is there a charge for the same?

You can foreclose the EPP on your credit card. The plan will be cancelled and the entire balance amount will be billed to the credit card as a regular interest bearing transaction.

The cancellation / foreclosure of the EPP includes a cancellation fee, as per the schedule of Deem fees and charges. The same fee will apply even in the case of refund or void transactions.

Revolving Balance Transfer

What is ‘Revolving Balance Transfer’?

‘Revolving Balance Transfer’ facility (also known as “Balance transfer – Direct”) is an offering to you to combine the credit card outstanding with UAE banks into one credit card.

The balance-transfer amount will act as a normal revolving interest bearing transaction while having 0% interest in the first 6 months and have monthly retail interest rate* billed thereafter. There is 2% processing fee charged for this plan.

*Monthly retail interest rates: 2.99% for World, 3.25% for Platinum and 3.33% for Titanium Credit cards.

Yes, the valet parking services can be availed for free at multiple shopping malls and dining hotspots, provided you meet the minimum required spends on your credit card

How many complimentary valet parking services am I eligible for?

As a Deem Platinum credit card holder, you are eligible for 4 complimentary standard valet parking services per month considering that the total retail spends in the previous billing cycle is minimum of AED 3,000

As a Deem World credit card holder, you are eligible for 6 complimentary standard valet parking services per month considering that the total retail spends in the previous billing cycle is minimum of AED 6,000

What are the locations where I can avail complimentary valet parking services?

Complimentary Valet Parking Services are available at multiple popular shopping destinations, dining hotspots in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

What happens when I use the valet parking services in excess to the eligible number of services?

The ineligible valet parking services availed during the month will be billed to the Deem Credit card in the following month by 20th of the month. The ineligible parking services will be charged to the credit card statement as per the schedule of charges available in Annexure-2.

Are VIP parking services included in the complimentary valet parking services?

Only Standard parking services are eligible for complimentary valet parking services. However, in case the cardholder avails VIP valet parking service, usage of one VIP valet parking service is considered equivalent to 2 standard valet parking services

Can the supplementary credit card holder avail the complimentary valet parking services?

Yes, the supplementary card holder can avail the complimentary services. However, the same will be counted towards the primary card holder account.

Who provides these valet parking services at the listed locations?

The Valet parking service is provided by Valtrans Transportation Systems (Valtrans) and is subject to availability of parking space. All charges debited to your credit card are on account of Valtrans and not on account of Deem.
